Denise Pitts

I have been privileged to teach math and science in the Christian Heritage Rhetoric school for the last fourteen years. My husband, Brian, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey of watching our three children, the youngest of which is now a senior! grow up in this place. My free time is mostly spent attending CHCS sports, theater, and choir events! On the rare occasion that we get a quiet evening at home, I like to watch old movies, read good books and have cozy conversations.  

I graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1997 with a B.S. in Chemistry and with no thoughts of becoming a teacher, but I agreed to serve for a year at a small Christian school in Virginia. I've been in love with teaching ever since. For a teacher, learning never stops which is my favorite part of the profession. I hope to ignite that same passion for learning in my students.
