Heather Trauger

I have been married to my husband, Andy, for 24 years. We have 4 children, 3 of whom graduated from CHCS and are currently pursuing jobs or college. My youngest is still in school at CHCS! I have been teaching here since 2010, and have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade self-contained, and now 5th-grade language arts. I love to teach using songs, chants, and movement, which is the classical method for our younger students! My degree is actually in piano performance -- I graduated in 1997 from Henderson State University in Arkansas with this degree -- but I feel I use this experience to help in my teaching every single day.  Our family has been blessed to be part of Christian Heritage for over 10 years, and it has continued to be a blessing to work with like-minded families and co-workers each and every day.
