Larry Cunningham

I graduated from Columbia High School in West Columbia, Texas in 1974, where I played football and basketball and finished fifth in my class. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated Cum Laude in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with majors in Mathematics, Health, and Physical Education. I received a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education from SFA in 2008. In college, I was an active member of the Wesley Foundation. It was there that I met my wonderful wife, Linda. We married in 1979 and God blessed our lives with three awesome kids, Matt, Beth, and Tim.

I began my teaching career in 1978 at Conroe High School. I have taught almost every level of math from 6th grade through Calculus, including the International Baccalaureate Program at Longview High School. I have also coached football, basketball, baseball, and track over the years. I have taught at Conroe, Palestine, Willis, and Longview. I began my time at CHCS in 2013. My career has spanned 43 years and God has blessed me with a wonderful life, both professionally and personally.
