The Sentinel Fund helps to bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual cost of the
comprehensive, quality, Christ-centered, classical education that our students receive. Christian
Heritage depends on current families, alumni, and alumni families, grandparents and friends of
CHCS to support the Sentinel Fund every year.

The tuition that would be necessary to fund our current level of education would restrict the
number of families who could afford to attend resulting in limited enrollment. Our desire is to
keep tuition affordable so that all families who share our vision for Christ-centered education
have the opportunity to join our community.

Each year the Annual Fund needs are different. The typical Sentinel Fund goal is $180,000.

Participation from 100 percent of the families enrolled at CHCS is the overriding goal for The
Sentinel Fund. You determine the size of your gift according to your own charitable interests,
willingness to give, and financial capacity. No gift is too small. Our prayer is that families will
give generously and to the best of their ability.

The office of development will make several dedicated requests each year. It is not necessary to
make a gift each time a request is made. Multiple requests are made throughout the year to
enable each family an opportunity to make a gift when it is best for them. Requests come as
direct mail, email solicitation, Big Event Dinner and Auction, and Giving Tuesday.

There are many ways to make a gift to The Sentinel Fund. One of the easiest ways is online at
the CHCS donation portal.
Gifts can be made in the form of:

Cash
Check (payable to Christian Heritage)
Credit Card

Give a gift to The Sentinel Fund!

Every year there is a difference between what we ask families to pay in tuition and what it actually costs to educate each of our students.

Gifts to The Sentinel Fund provide essential funding for the school's annual operating needs including tuition assistance, classroom materials, training for our teachers, activities for our students, and much more.

We are deeply grateful to our donors for investing in our students — and our future.
