Why did you choose to go into teaching? “I have always loved teaching, even as a nurse. Now, I love it when a lesson comes together, and I can see understanding and excitement on a student’s face about the material taught. It is a special opportunity to touch a child’s heart and take a small part in who he/she will become.”

What do you love about CHCS? “I am thrilled to be returning to Longview and CHCS. It is coming home. Christian Heritage is a blessing to work at because of the “love for Christ” environment. Christ is the focus and everything else comes after Him. I get to share Jesus every day with my students. That is the best kind of job!”
