Teri McKinley
Rhetoric Spanish Instructor

Teri is originally from Michigan and graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2008. She completed her Master's degree at Arizona State University in 2010. Her husband, Anthony, is originally from East Texas, and they moved to the area to put down roots in 2011. They are parents of two boys who attend CHCS and value the uniquely loving experience and exceptional education at the school.

Teri had the privilege of working with students at ETBU and teaching at Baylor University prior to becoming a mom in 2015. During her years of being a stay-at-home mom, Teri also developed a writing career and became the co-author of more than a dozen Christian books for children.

Teri studied Spanish extensively over the course of more than 6 years and has a deep love for language and communication. She has a passion for mentoring teenagers and sees Christian teaching as a means of pouring into the lives of younger believers. Outside of teaching, Teri loves to play tennis, work on home renovation projects with her husband, and cheer on her boys from the sidelines of their games.
