Leslie Dorrough

Coach Dorrough graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing.  Leslie worked several years as a labor and delivery nurse at Good Shepherd Medical Center until starting a family in 1999 and then enjoyed the blessing of being at home raising her family.

For many years, Coach Dorrough volunteered at CHCS in a variety of roles, including serving as a Board Member.  In 2016, she assumed the role of Assistant Athletic Director and PE teacher.  She and her husband, Carl, have three children, two of whom are CHCS graduates (Ethan and Darbi) and a son (Quaid) who is a junior at CHCS.

Coach Dorrough has always had a passion for sports and competition.  Prior to pursuing a nursing degree, she attended Texas A&M University to pursue a degree in Education and Coaching.  Coach Dorrough loves Serving the Sentinels!
